As a JIT plant with 109 employees, this location supplies local automakers and providesexclusiveaccess to the African market. As part of the voestalpine group, the location showsdynamicdevelopment with the latest processes and technologies.

Customer projects are implemented in close collaboration with the German Competence Centerwithaccess to group-wide,international expertise.

To maintain records of laboratory test reports daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.To ensure that the control of SPC chart is maintained.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

Main duties and responsibilties

• Interaction with production Teamleaders & Quality personnel as and when problems arise.
• Requalification of assemblies annuallyq Communicate quality related issues to Teams
• Assess risks with operational personnel and report immediately to Management.
• Participate in production releases as and when required, i.e. during problem solving, machine set-up and impromptu audits or during risk assessment
• Understand customer requirement and ensure effective implementation
• Interaction with customer when requested by management.
• Ensure Destruction area through-put is achieved.
• Ensure key milestone are met and trigger quality management when risk arises that may compromise such targets.
• Allowed to stop production in paralell with quality management when total noncompliance to product conformity is detected by laboratory.
• Coordinate sample for testing with Destructive team and ensure timeous flow samples and test results.
• Draft quality alerts for operation when problem detected by laboratory.
• Ensure work load targets are met as directed by quality management. Release of production parts and incoming goods at planned intervals.
• Regular Quality Feedback
• Follow NCP process when encountering defective material
• Filing of data and reports on share point and O drive

Qualifications

• Metalurgy background added advantage.
