voestalpine Automotive Components East London Ltd. Co. is specialist in manufacturing complexassemblies for car body and crash protection vehicle parts.

As a JIT plant with 109 employees, this location supplies local automakers and provides exclusiveaccess to the African market. As part of the voestalpine group, the location shows dynamicdevelopment with the latest processes and technologies.

Customer projects are implemented in close collaboration with the German Competence Center withaccess to group-wide,international expertise.

To ensure that records related to the Supply Chain process flow is maintained.

The scope of work is as follows :
The Supply Clerk, will be able to work in both Dispatch and Receiving area.

The requirements of the vacancy are as follows:

Dispatch

• System supported creation of all shipping documents, goods tags and additional documentsbased on the Customer requirements.
• Create a trip schedule/loading list & liaise with transporter and/ customer to meet the requireddelivery slots.
• Arrange transportation for all deliveries or outgoing shipments.
• Archiving of the signed shipping documents e.g. D3 archive
• Arrange packaging, organizing transport e.g. DSV)
• Update SAP with correct quantities of all SLTs in the plant on a daily basis
• Communicate any SLT shortages to material planner immediately.
• Co-ordinate the loading and offloading activities between the different logistics areas.
• Complete all SAP transactions for all shipments already dispatched and completed.
• Create a spreadsheet and update daily of all deliveries made to the Customer.
• Create and update a stock holding list of all FG and the expiry dates
• Create ASN labels for each shipment on the customer’s portal.
• Request PODs from Transporter for daily trips made and save on system.
• Update the KPI data each morning before 08h00

Receiving

• Liaise with Material Planner with regards to all Import shipments
• Update Material Planners’ schedule created from Forwarding Agents status report with shipments’ETA and the actual delivered date and the date the stock was booked into SAP.
• Communicate any shipment discrepancies immediately as well as if there are any incomplete ordelayed shipments.
• Correctly book all stock into SAP and ensure documents are filed neatly
• Liaise with Forwarding agent once containers are empty and ready for collection
• Capture all delivery notes/documentation in SAP of all items/Stock received in plant.
• All documents are filed and archived on D3
• Ensure all stamps/labels are correctly placed on the bins - the correct FIFO, BOE, etc. beforereleasing for locating in warehouse.
• Expiry dates where applicable to be correctly captured when booking the stock into SAP
• Liaise with Material Planner for any cycle counts to be done.
• Update the rebate register and scrap register for customs purposes (Destruction)
• Daily checks are done to ensure that stock and goods records are accurate.
• Ensure that forklift checks are being done by the SC Operators in the Supply Chain Areas.
• Ensure that the Supply Chain areas and equipment, i.e. forklift, work station, warehouse locations,battery bay area etc. are kept neat and tidy at all times

The successful candidate must have the following:

Qualification:

• Grade 12

Experience:

• 5 - 10 years experience in Supply Chain
• SAP for inventory management would be advantageous
